!Download Book ⚕ Diana's Electric Tongue ♺ Set in a lush, cosy future, Diana makes a bold attempt to move on after a difficult break up This continues to be one of my favorite comics that I ve ever read, with one of my favorite endings of a storyever The storytelling and world building is efficient and enjoyable, the characters are lovable, the art is expressive and gooey It punches me right in the chest. Hey, red alert, this is a REALLY GOOD comic about being heartbroken, which I would class right up there at the top of that genre along with the Octopus Pie arc The Witch Lives It s ALSO kind of everything I want from a character driven mundane SF story I recommend this to all of you.Aside from the pure and wonderful writing, this has some amazing character and environment art Good lord, the wedding venue Sabine Owen So good And I love that Diana s prosthetic tongue is offensively li Hey, red alert, this is a REALLY GOOD comic about being heartbroken, which I would class right up there at the top of that genre along with the Octopus Pie arc The Witch Lives It s ALSO kind of everything I want from a character driven mundane SF story I recommend this to all of you.Aside from the pure and wonderful writing, this has some amazing character and environment art Good lord, the wedding venue Sabine Owen So good And I love that Diana s prosthetic tongue is offensively lime green, that little tidbit does so much hidden heavy lifting. This is longer than a normal floppy, but smaller than what most people would call a graphic novel I guess you could call it a graphic novella if you didn t mind being a TERMINOLOGY CRIMINAL and lol, I don t As far as I know the only place to get it is at the author s Etsy, although I wouldn t be shocked if Floating World or BWP had a copy or two hanging around For all that it seems to be at a zine ish level of commerciality blank spine, no ISBN , the physical and print quality is superb. Here s another, shorter comic by Nowak, which I also loved tremendously I m VERY curious about whatever the hell she s working on next I ve had this book on a shelf for too much time I knew it was something that I would have loved, but I also knew that it could break my heart Today I picked it up, because I needed something to drown my own gloom in And it did break my heart, in a warm and comforting way.Side positive note for how naturally the society in the comic includes a lot of different genders Quite simply one of the best comics I ve ever read Just read it It s so god damn good. Short, weird and beautiful The back cover has a quote by Kelly Link, which was appropriate, as this comic almost feels like something she could have written But instead it was written and drawn by Carolyn Nowak, a true talent I am glad to have finally discovered I ve probably read this comic 5 or 6 times now and the end makes me cry every single time. I just want it to continue tho
